The females from Anewadi town in Jawali taluka near Satara will expose on Aamir Khan’s path-breaking display Satyamev Jayate, how they made the whole taluka alcohol-free.
A group of Satyamev Jayate lately frequented Anewadi, Kudal, Medha and Humgaon towns in Jawali taluka and questioned the females who took the cause to close alcoholic beverages stores, cafes and allow areas in their towns.
Non-governmental company (NGO) Vyasanmukti Sanghatana chief executive Vilasbaba Jawal informed DNA that the oneness shown by the females performed an important part in making Jawali taluka totally without any alcoholic beverages.
“We are attaching up with these females to duplicate their design at a bigger range and endeavor to make the whole region totally without any alcoholic beverages,” he said.
Madhuri Farande, one of the effective females said, “We made the decision to release the strategy against alcoholic beverages after realizing how this addiction was damaging the life of people. However, despite getting achievements, nobody valued our initiatives.
“The chance given to us to function on Satyamev Jayate has paid for our effort.”
