A MOTHERS LOVE IS A REMARKABLE THING. I WAS REMINDED OF THAT WHEN I WENT TO VISIT MARK AND KRISTIN GREESON.

 THEY HAVE TWO BOYS BRAYNT AND MASON. BACK IN APRIL THEY LEARNED THAT 2 YEAR OLD MASON HAD A LARGE TUMOR ON HIS KIDNEY.

"It just cut my center out, I desired to take his position....I interceded and interceded for God to just let me have it instead of him, I just desired to take it away from him so bad."

SO DOCTORS IMMEDIATELY BEGAN RADIATION TO SHRINK THE TUMOR.....SO IT COULD BE SAFELY REMOVED. MARK GREESON WORKS IN THE ETOWAH COUNTY JAIL. CO-WORKERS THERE ARE ABLE TO GIVE THEIR VACATION TIME TO SOME ELSE.

THE COMMUNITY CAME TOGETHER TO SUPPORT THE GREESON FAMILY. SNEAD BAPTIST CHURCH HAD A BLOOD DRIVE AND FUN DAY......SOME SORT OF EVENT WAS HELD MOST WEEKENDS TO SUPPORT THEM. AND EVERYONE PRAYED.

"You know God solutions desires when ya wish for em and everybody was prayin for his tumor to shrink, it went down just like that.... 5 therapies and his tumor was a one fourth of the dimension it used to be."

DOCTORS WERE ABLE TO REMOVE MASON'S TUMOR AND ONE OF HIS KIDNEY'S........... HE GOES BACK TO CHILDREN'S OF ALABAMA FOR CHEMOTHERAPY TREATMENTS NOW..... OH, AND THIS IS COOL.....HE EVEN GOT THIS PICTURE AND WELL WISHES FORM BUZZ LIGHTYEAR AND WOODY.........

MASON'S OLDER BROTHER BRYANT HAS HAD TO DO SOME GROWIN UP A LITTLE EARLIER THAN A 4 YEAR OLD OUGHT TO HAVE TO.

"But, Bryant's been excellent, he's been there for his brother and he always contains his brother in his evening hours prayer and he demands God to deal with brother and keep the tumor away."

MARK AND KRISTIN SHOWED ME ALL OF THE T-SHIRTS THAT HAVE BEEN MADE TO SELL AND SUPPORT MASON AND THE GREESON FAMILY. THE FAMILY SAYS THEY CLAIMED THIS VERSE FROM I SAMUEL........"I HAVE PRAYED FOR THIS CHILD AND THE LORD HAS GRANTED ME WHAT I ASKED HIM FOR."

"It indicates so much the information and the calling and the desires.....you know to get on Facebook or myspace every day and get information from all over the Combined Declares, individuals saying you know we're hoping for your little boy."

KRISTEN GREESON WAS CAREFUL TO POINT OUT THAT OTHERS FACE MUCH SCARIER AND LONGER JOURNEY'S....BUT THIS ONE IS THEIRS....... THIS IS THERE SON....... AND LIKE OTHER FAMILIES WHO FACE UNCERTAIN DAYS, THIS FAMILY IS PULLING TOGETHER AND TAKING EACH DAY AS IT COMES.

AND AFTER ALL THE TREATMENTS............THEY HOPE THEIR PRAYERS CONTINUE TO BE ANSWERED ON BEHALF OF 2 YEAR OLD MASON GREESON..........THAT'S THE SPIRIT OF ALABAMA.
